In addition to the 4 methods that served as the base for the Bicycle User Experience concept, this blog will be translating more human centered design methods to the context of street design for everyday biking. These blog posts are initial explorations.

The fifth method we'll explore is Critical Incident Analysis.

What: Data collection and analysis on the moments everyday people describe as "critical" (for positive or negative reasons) during their cycling journeys.

Why: Reveal strengths and weak points of your city's cycling network through a collection of real reported incidents.

End Goal: Uncover the "make or break" points for cycling in your city and prioritize changes that will make significant improvements to the everyday person's cycling experience.
